Airport Extreme in a Ti Powerbook??

Is it possible to put an Airport EXTREME card into a Ti powerbook 1Ghz. or do I have to stick with the standard Airport that I have already? The wireless network at work has been upgraded to 54g and I have been offered an Airport Extreme card for nothing providing I give back my old Airport card!
 
You can't fit an Airport Extreme care into a computer that wasn't designed for it. You can't fit an Airport card into an AE enabled computer either. I'd say you're out of luck unless you can find a 3rd party PCI card for 802.11g or something :(
 
card bus is the word. I am also trying to find a good third party card bus wifi adaptor for my tibook. Currently there are no apple drivers out and I am not sure about the compatibility of third party drivers under macosx..
