Help! I'm a Mac novice, but I have a powermac G4 and an Imac networked.
The problem is due to my ISP I have to set mtu to 1430.
I have been using a comand I found on line to change this setting (sudo ifconfig en1 mtu 1430).
The problem is this command is no longer working on the G4, instead I get the message 'interface en1 does not exist'.
Is there anything I can do, so that en1 is recognised?
And is there an idiots guide to avoiding having to change the mtu settings on each boot up.
