IMac G5 1.8 1g RAM OSX 10.4.8, newly installed airport extreme card, won't find local Linksys wireless network. I hardwired the the computer directly to the router and updated all the software and drivers, still not finding the network.
I'm sure nothing is wrong with the network as I am able to find it with a Powerbook G4, strong signal from 50 feet and on the second floor (modem and router on the first floor). IMac is 3 feet from the router.
I tried changing the network settings for the computer to try and join the network via Airport before anything else (ethernet, firewire, etc.) still no luck. WHAT TO TRY NEXT?
