Hi guys,
I'm having trouble connecting to the Internet at work. Specifically, I'm having trouble keeping my connection to the Internet (Wifi) and it's driving me nuts.
I don't know what the problem is, because this is literally the only Wifi connection I have ever had trouble with. Moreover, none of my colleagues are experiencing the problem on their Windows PCs, even if the connection is, by all accounts, somewhat unreliable anyway. The problem seems to be specifically related to my using a Mac. It doesn't seem to be system-specific either : I just upgraded from an old Macbook to a Macbook pro, and the problem is exactly the same.
The funny bit : once the connection "hangs", if I turn Airport off and turn it right back on I can browse again. Fun, eh. I haven't been able to find a pattern - it seems to just hang randomly, regardless of the intensity of my Internet activities. I'm experiencing the problem in a wide range of programs (iTunes, Firefox, Thunderbird, NetNewsWire, etc).
Any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers,
Christophe
