Airport won't connect

I'm having trouble with my wireless internet.
I live with another three people and it's all working fine for them.

My airport is on, and my network is found but it simply won't connect.
I have tried turning my airport on and off but that won't help. I've also tried turning the modem on and off, this did nothing.

I can only get access to the internet now through an ethernet cord.
I want my wireless to work again, I just can't see what the problem is? I feel like I've tried everything!

This started the other day when my wireless would suddenly just stop working, but I could get it to work again now and again. I can't seem to get it to work any more at all, it's been a couple of days now. I hadn't updated any software before it stopped working, but I have afterwards.

Try these steps:

1. Turn of the Airport card.

2. Open /Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access and find any entry for the wireless security and delete the entry.

3. Open System Preferences->Network and at the top of the pane will be "Location". In "Location" use the pull-down and make a custom location (calling it what you want. Then at the bottom of the pane click "Apply".

4. Now turn the Airport back on and try to join the wireless network now to see if it works.

Now plus check who runs wireless network and make sure they didn't add more security of MAC address filtering. Also let use know what version of security (WEP, WPA, WPA) the wireless network is using.

Good Luck.
