I am running iPhoto 5.0.3 under Mac OS X 10.4.2
Since iPhoto 5.0.3 was released, I have been experiencing crashes in the edit mode. I noticed recently at Macfixit.com a suggestion to rebuild the photo library as a way to get the crashes to stop.
After making a backup copy (thank goodness!), I rebuilt the library... all the pictures are there but ALL my albums are gone! Any chance of getting them back????
I also did notice that there is a file in the iphoto folder called AlbumData.xml (which the system says was generated by Final Cut Express today... even though I have not run the app at all). Will I restore my albums by replacing this file with my backup copy??
