Alias arrow

lol. Oh, c'mon, there has to be... I'm sure there's some PDF you can replace somewhere deep in the system so that you replace the arrow with a blank image.

ANybody? Beuller?.... Beuller?
 
Found this on MacNN;

Open SystemIcons.rsrc in an icon application such as Iconographer from MScape Software and open up the alias arrow from there and edit it out. Save, Logout, back in and it should work fine.
 
I'd like to know, just out of curiosity, why you want to remove the arrows.

Customizing my desktop, and they can be an eyesore. I have it set up so that instead of my HD mounting on the desktop, I have an alias so that it doesn't change position after a reboot.
