All Question Marks On Macos Sierra

My macOS Sierra shows all question marks instead of readable characters.
I allready did a re-install of Sierra but this has not changed the problem.

My last actions were:
Removed VMWare Fusion V8 from the applications folder (trial version, expired yesterday)
Reinstalled VMWare Fusion V7
Rebooted the iMac

Problem solved with Apple Support: recover systemfonts
 
Problem occurs when uninstalling VMWare Fusion V8 and reinstalling V7.

I had a 3 hour contact with Apple Support yesterday. Finally I had to restore my system from Time Machine. I was able to recreate the problem after that!

After having the questionmarks a second problem occurred: unexpected stop of 'ctkahp'.
Although I had no service rights for my iMac anymore they were more than interessed in what I told them.
Object 'ctkahp' was/is unkown in their knowlegde base too.

Maybe other users have benefit with this info.....
