Hi!

Im using timemachine to backup on WD mycloud. After my last backup my WD mycloud went through some kind of verifying I never seen before and now I cant make any more backups. I got the message that (translated from swedish) "time machine cant find backup"

And:
"Time machine couldnt complete backup. Time Machine couldnt erase ”/Volumes/TimeMachineBackup/MyMacBook Pro.purgeable” for backup.

How can I restore my old backups?

At this point, I have no idea what your WD did.
Is/was there anything else other than Time Machine backups on it?
If yes, I'd be running a recovery program on it. DiskWarrior, TechTool Pro, etc.
Download & run Smart Utility to verify the WD.
If not, best to totally reformat the WD and run another backup.

In the past, I have had a TM problem. You need to turn off Time Machine in your system preferences. Now use a disk utility to check and repair the drive.
You may need to totally erase the drive. Once done, go back to Time Machine and reselect the drive, essentially starting over with a fresh back up.
