alt+tab and apple symbol+tab differences

When running my favorite multi-window programs in windows (msn messenger) I could press alt+tab to get to the next msn messenger conversation window. On mac os x it does will switch to the next program. (usually pulling up my miltiple fire fox windows)

the basics.
-I'm running 2 windows of fire fox while having 2 conversations on msn
-I want a hot key that can switch me between either my 2 fire fox widows or my 2 msn conversations.

Wanted answers
-is it possible?
-how do I do it?
 
Usually if you're looking for a common command, you can just find the command in it's drop-down menu, and if there is a shortcut, it will be listed there.
