In the PC we can use Alt+tab in the games to switch prograns... but this doesnt seens to work on Mac.... Whats the secret ??

Thankx
PS: Maybe this is a stupid question... but its my doubt

There are not stupid questions.... just Switchers. Welcome. :D

The Mac equivalent is Command-Tab

(Command is the key with the "Apple" and "Power" symbols on it)

As you Command-Tab from one app to the next, you can see the icons highlight in the dock.

but when Im inside of the game, like Civilization 3 or Age of empires 2, I cant get out, switching to other applications... I've already tryed Command+Tab ... =((((

I know what you mean -- in Windows you can usually hit alt+tab or else the windows key and the full screen game will minimize into the task bar. I don't think you can do this in OS X. At least I haven't been able to find a way to do it.

Im a mac user, and I cant use Apple-Tap to swich out of a complicated game. For example, Quake III Arena. In fact none of the apple comands work when this game is open. But while in a less complicated game like StarCraft I can use all the comands. I what to know how the game creator (ID Software) can do this, or am I just missing somthing?

the thing is that command + tab event is caught by these more complex games as u call it..

hence it dosent work.

jeb1138, there's a quote that's not mine in your last post :). The second are SuicideBoy's sayings.

BTW, I hoped you clicked the links, they're so lovely too :D.

Switching often works when you pause the game (true for Unreal Tourney, StarCraft, WarCraft III I think and Quake, those are the only ones I play to).

Often, command-M will turn full screen games into regular windowed games. Then the normal Mac keyboard commands should work. Not all games do this, but some do.
