Alternative platform for Palm devices?

Yes, and it looks like they used it for Palm OS 6. Which makes me wonder why they're looking at other platforms.

The Palm OS is already very nice, despite a few annoyances. But if they can make something even better, then who knows, I might try to get it. I just hope they don't go with Nokia, I don't really like the way Nokia phones navigate.

Someone at school told me yesterday that I should install Linux on my Palm. I just may... ;)

I like the palm OS. I wish I could put iSync on my palm and sync with .mac from other locations over any net commection. Maybe apple could partner with palm some way to promote .mac and sync ing more. Bundle isync free in palms and give a free trial of .mac like they do anyway. I think iSync works better than the paln sync also.

quite truthfully, I've never liked palmOS... for once, I actually like (gulp, I'm publicly admitting this) Mobile Windows... my iPaq just does what I want it to.
