Excuse me! I'm english so may I say sorrry straight away for interupting these Threads. I'm also very new to Macs, just got my Imac in August and already had a logic board crash!!! I've been with PCs all my life but now i'm 60 i've decided to cross the Rubicon (sorry Microsoft)

But my excitement has been tarnished with the aforementioned crash, and now my Key Chain has been corrupted and it won't accept the correct password! This drives me nuts as the screen is constantly filled with requests for the keychain password!!!

Please could someone help? As I say I'm not fresh out of the box and i'm new to Linux, so please don't assume that I know what you're talking about.

Trevor

Your best bet if the keychain is corrupted is to first of all try Keychain First Aid, which you will find in Applications --> Utilities --> Keychain Assistant. If this fails to resolve the issue, navigate to your home folder, then Library --> Keychains and delete the corrupted keychain file.
