I was browsing through my modem settings and in particular the modem list, and what did I discover ? Drivers for IR equipend mobile phones like the ericsson Txx series, the ericsson Rxxx series, all nokia phones (since nokia_ir is listed) coool
Now if only iBooks had an IR port

They don't have an IR port? Bummer. I thought they did.

My TiBook has one, but I haven't found any way to make it do anything yet.

I was hoping I could hack some of the Linux Remote Control software to use the IR port to change the channel on my TV. Don't ask why. I don't have an answer.

The TiBooks are the only thing apple has with IR capability for now. They phased out IR from all their desktop models a while back. Ibooks never had IR
