another LAME question

i downloaded the source, compiled it as per the instructions on a thread i found here, but i still don't know how to use it. i have a wav file i need to convert to mp3. it was created in audacity, which won't recognize the lamelib file. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Just go get the iTunes-LAME plug-in for iTunes (Google is your friend) and be done with your troubles. Who has time for compiling source code? I don't!

i figured it out. i couldn't find the LAME unix executable. once i did, it was all gravy. it was in the "frontend" subfolder. i still can't figure out why audacity won't recognize the lamelib file, though. oh well.
