I continually get errors while trying to compile php 4.2.1 from source with GD (and other packages).
Errors:
(lines and lines of: )
ld: multiple definitions of symbol...
/usr/bin/libtool: internal link edit command failed
make[1]: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
Any tips on getting this to work?
