Anyone else having SCSI problems with Jag?

I installed my copy of Jag on my G4 450 DP and now I cannot scan with my AGFA SCSI scanner. AGFA says it's not their problem and I also looked into VueScan and that mentioned something about a SCSI bug in 10.2. Just wodering if anyone else has had any problems or heard any news/rumors about this so called bug?

I had been able to use a SCSI UMAX Astra 1220 scanner with VueScan on OS 10.1.5...I haven't been able to scan anything on OS 10.2.

I had also been able to use an external SCSI Yamaha 6x4x16 CD-RW to burn with...no more!...I can play music CD's but my TOAST Titanium cannot find it to burn with.

I have been able to use my SCSI ZIP 100MB drive with no apparent problems.

In addition I can still use my external USB Floppy Drive and a SanDisk CompactFlash reader...Plus, my external Firewire HD works as well as before. My USB Epson 740 printer also appears to work okay. I can use iPhoto to connect to and download from my Canon G1 camera.

Bottom line is: I like 10.2 with it's few deficiencies, and I expect Vuescan to make corrections which will let me scan and I really don't need to use Toast and the Yamaha to burn CD's with. Plus...I can always boot in OS 9.2.2 and use everything. :)

VueScan did release a new version yesterday (7.5.45) and its supposed to have a workaround for the scsi problem. I tried it and cannot get it to even open on my Mac running 10.2. Since I am the scanner operator at my work I was forced to switch back to 10.1.5. Bummer. I hope someone figures out the problem and quits pointing fingers as who to blame is.
