Apache 2?

Anyone installed Apache 2?

Any interesting differenes between it and the 1.3.x version that comes with OS X?

Do you think the Apache 2 will be part of OS X 10.2?

I am curious on this too.

I read a rather favorable review of Apchae when compared to IIS... it overall performance was neck and neck with the M$ offering. For free.

I feel Apache 2.0 will be included in 10.2, I just think Apple is willing to do something like that with OSX's UNIX side... some adventure would be great...

That said, OSX Server 10.2 should have some really great stuff, and by then, who knows... we could Apple racks or blades by then! Watch out HP and Big Blue.... whoah. getting ahead of myself there.

Funny. I too just read an IIS vs. Apache 2 article. That's what triggered me to ask this question.

I have a stack of magazines here since I just went on a business trip, so I can't remember which one had the article.

Any insiders have any insight about OS X 10.2 and Apache 2?

I thought there were problems with compiling Apache 2 on OSX?
I maybe wrong, but i haven't seen anything on OSX/Apache 2
