I have heard rumors with in the past year that Apple was going to come out with a TIVO like DVD recorder that MAY come in under $700! Any updates...?

There were a lot of pictures floating around the internet some time ago concerning this, although I think it was longer than a year ago. I remember seeing some TV boxes with Apple logos on them around the time of the Newton. I actually had a PDF of it somewhere... here it is! I found it! Let's see if I can link to it now... it's from 1995, though!

Didn't Apple manufacture, but never actually sell a Mac OS-based device called Pippin? I'm no expert on it, but I remember hearing lots about it around 1995 or so...

Pippin was Apple's video game system. It was sold, but was overpriced and didn't have enough games so it didn't do well. As usual, it was ahead of its time.
