Apple announces 2.3ghz Xserve / Xsan

Yikes -- I guess I never updated myself on the new speeds of the FSB since they bumped the processor speeds.

Yikes! What are PCs running at these days... 800MHz to 1GHz?
 
Fastest PC i've seen (specs for that is) had a 800Mhz FSB, with most being the magical 533mhz..
If apple added PCI-Extreme (for Pro Video cards), these would make great video/audio/graphic workstations when combined with this
 
AMD is actually leading in that area as the socket 939 AMD64 CPUs run at 1.6GHz or 2GHz, depending on the model.
