Where mah "any" keys at?
I'd much rather have a rechargeable wireless Bluetooth mouse/keyboard pair than either with wires (which actually clutter my tiny desk a lot) or even rechargeable batteries. My Palm Pilot, for example, uses rechargeable AAA batteries, which are annoying because they die easily and I have to have spares to put in so I don't lose my data while they recharge (I've got 2 or 3 pairs of them). My dad's Clié has a built-in rechargeable battery that operates from his cradle, with a longer life, which is very nice.
The problem with non-Bluetooth wireless input, like TsizKEIK said, is that you need line-of-sight to use it with the receiver, like a remote control. (Hey, there you go, Bluetooth remote control! The ultimate in lazy couch potato TV surfing!) For iPods, though, Bluetooth is still too slow (like USB). Bluetooh : USB :: Airport : Firewire.
Anybody ever read Exit Strategy by Douglas Rushkoff? It's complicated to explain (so look it up on Amazon), but at one point they get a wireless network going by simply plugging wires into the ground. Read the book for full details.
I should show you guys the back of this computer some time... wire city. If only I had a decent digital camera...
