Building a CD database/catalogue.

1. Utilised the CDDB (Gracenote) to access CD information, such as CD title, artist and song names.

2. With OS 9 I utilised CD Coyote to access the Apple CD Remote file (that stored copies of CD title, artists and song names) to build a database on excel & filemaker.

I have now installed OS X, but can I access the same data, if so, how? and where? What program can I use to access it?

The CD Remote tool has long been replaced with iTunes as the primary music player software. I don't know whether iTunes can export the data into something you can read into Excel or FileMaker...
 
iTunes can export to various text based formats, that applications like Excel can read with ease. Text divided by tab-stops for example.
