This ariticle on top of recent government moves to make broadband more prevelant makes the idea of a Quicktime Movie Store a money winning proposition for Apple.

I agree. I hope it is legally feasible (i.e. the movie monopoly goes for it). With companies like Sony and others competing for online music download sites to prospect looks dimmer each day.

Any more news on whether a Quicktime video store is going to open?

I would so pay money for such a store. A flat fee of $30 a year isn't going to be too much and this would even spur me to go for broadband.
