apple mail does not load photos correctly

Hello,

I am Using an Imac with Leopard 10.5.8 and Apple mail version 3.6 and my problem is that mail does not load all the photos correctly. Some photos will get loaded and then half way the Photo is just grey. Sometimes it loads more of one Photo and sometimes less. I have no idea why this happened and even when i download the full image to the desktop it remains half grey.

Does anybode know why this happens?

I have taken Contact with my web host and they also do not know what could be the problem. Has nobody else had the same issue?

Hm- they don't seem to get loaded fully.
Does that happen with all images?
If not, what do the images that show that have in common? What mail client and OS were they sent from? What localization?
 
It happens with all images. But when i try and reload the mail then sometimes it is the full image. Or Or when there are more images in one mail and i reload them then some will be fine and others will be only half way. In entourage they all work perfectly fine. The mails i get come from everywhere and all machines. Maybe Apple mail does not support some Komponent of the imap server? Do i have to change the port settings?
