Apple Mail Password

Hi,

I use Apple Mail with an AOL smtp account, and four or five POP accounts. Is there any way to set ONE general password to allow a user unrestricted access to Mail? That is, when I open Mail, I will be asked to enter my password and when that's done, I can do whatever I like within Mail.

I've tried setting passwords for each individual account but most of them aren't sensitive, so I remembered their passwords in Keychain. There's only one account I have to keep secure and that's the AOL smtp one. Until recently, I used a password for it and it seemed to work well -- i.e., after clicking on an email or wanting to send one, you had to enter the password -- but I've just noticed that if you press "Cancel" instead of "OK" the program just lets you into the account anyway!

I wonder if somehow the password has been remembered into Keychain, or perhaps it's just a bug during this session. It's a small thing, but it's driving me nuts . . .

Hope you can help.

Best,
ALEX
