Apple Mail "unexpectedly quitting"

Hello,

My Apple Mail keeps quitting when I try to open a email with an attachment. All other mail opens normally. It started recently and with photos from family and now I can't open older emails w/ attachments either. I can go to my gmail account and open there. Any ideas?

I downloaded the latest combo update from Apple's website, but nothing changed.
