Apple Mail "vacation"

Is there anything like the old Unix "vacation" utility for Apple Mail? That is, send a canned message to each sender, but only once per sender.

You do understand that your email client has to first receive your messages before it can respond to them. In order for Mail to send out an automated response, your would have to leave your computer on, your account logged-on, and Mail running.

Check your ISP or mail provider.
Both of the two I use Shaw and Apple iCloud provide this Vacation message feature, and no, I do not have to leave my computer running.

Thanks, jbarley. It's been so long since I logged into my mail service, I never thought of it. Yes, it can do what I want.
