Apple Mail

Since upgrading to 10.2.4, my Apple Mail (1.2.3) will not allow me to Reply, Reply All, Forward or Compose. All other functions work as advertised. The buttons are there and respond when selected, just nothing happens. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. It seemed like a simple enough task but, I am obviously still living a Classic world. How do I go about deleting the mail prefs in 10.2.4?

The Apple Mail prefs file is located in ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist

~/ indicates your home directory.

thanks again but, after deleting prefs and re-starting accounts......still acts the same. Is there anyway to just start from scratch like deleting mail altogether and reloading it somehow?

I also had a problem w/ Mail after installing 10.2.4, the mail icon had changed to a folder w/ an X thru it and it wouldn't start, couldn't re-install off the original jaguar cd cuz it won't let you over write the newer version (10.2.4) after 2 hrs of getting nowhere w/ phone support i ended up copying Mail from a friends comp to a cd-r and then put it back on mine. Problem solved. try it, it can't hurt.

Many of us are still living in a Classic world.... <vbg>
Quite an adjustment isn't it?

By the way,

I forgot to note a couple days ago the reason I moved this (helpful) thread. I moved it from 'Mac OS X System and Misc. Software' to 'Nothing But Net'. It may be splitting hairs, but I think it belongs with the other net stuff.
