OK it seems the problems I experimented are limited to my powerbook and the group of people I know and it's not the case of the majority.
On a side note, I bought the PB at USA, custom built with the 80 GB 5400 RPM HD, withouth DVD recorder and with 128 MB VRAM.
In regards to the bluetooth problem, you can see extensive threads at apple forums with people having the same problem. The thing is you only find out when you want to use it and find the control panel is not there.
Also I think these kind of problems are with the latest portables since all the people I know who had these problems have portables bought within the last year.
