Apple products win five PC World Class Awards

Apple picked up five awards for its Mac mini, Mac OS X 10.4 (“Tiger”) iPod and other products in the annual World Class Awards from PC World.

The Mac mini was named best “Small PC,” while the iPod photo was the overall “Large Capacity MP3 Player.” Tiger was given the “Operating System” honors, iTunes the best “Media Player” and the iTunes Music Store the best place for “Music Downloads.”

The winners and the “100 Best Products of 2005” in the July issue features the finest products and services of the last year will be spotlighted in the upcoming issue, which will hit newsstands June 14. PC World editors pick the awards “based on exemplary design, features, performance, innovation, and price.”
