I thought the OS X was not affected by spyware?

(P.S. Just for the record, I don't need to cover my tracks!).

nevertheless, business is business, and just because you know there isn't any spyware, doesn't mean everybody doesn't. i wouldn't be surprised if that ism'\t quite the little earner.

I just downloaded macscan and tried it on my work computer. It's been on the internet, receiving email, etc. for almost three years. Not one instance of spyware found.

I'd recommend not buying a spyware program for mac just yet unless you download questionable files on a regular basis (ie. lots of x-rated stuff or questionable software).

I shall bear this in mind.

There are really only two reasons you would want anti-malware software on a Mac:

• They can remove malware that can't harm your Mac, but might harm any Windows users it made its way to. If you run a server, this is important.
• The mysterious crashes and poor performance they cause add excitement and drama to what otherwise might be a dull, predictable computing experience. ;)
