i have been hosting a few servers recently, and have noticed significant speed lost on my dsl line while there is a lot of activity, someone mentioned that one of my hubs might only be half-duplex....they weren't but i tested it again going straight into the dsl modem from my mac. same scenario. i looked in the apple system profiler and under the network area, this is what is reported:
Up, Broadcast, b6, Running, Simplex, Multicast
the simplex is where the half-duplex or the full-duplex should be....is there a reason for this being here....and is this what i am looking for.
anyone with answers would be great!
