I think most people see that as two different things, most likely because IBM and AOL are computer related corporations... therefore making it a necessary evil to have dealings with them. Starbucks on the other hand is a coffee selling corporation (and is often used as a representation of big-business) that has little to nothing to do with the computer/electronics industry.
Keep in mind that Apple has been attempting to play the image of the underdog... the small business. It may be somewhat unsettling for some to see Apple partner with so many corporations (ie. Pepsi, Starbucks) in recent memory. I suppose most people should realize that Apple is a corporation that is attempting to make money... it is not there to be second-best or third-best forever.
Even though I oppose such dealings, I realize it is necessary for the evolution of Apple I suppose.
