That's a pretty tall order dude.
HTTPS is essentially a secure web connection to lets say Apache with SSL. SSL is a public key/private key type encryption. You can pause it, but the connection MUST not be lost. If you try to resume a download say a few hours later it won't let you resume a download. I think NS6.1 has a way to pause and resume a download, but it doesn't work all that well. Maybe if someone wants to write a program that can automatically relogin with the supplied login/pass then it could work.
