In mail,
you can set the colour of a subjects background to a different colour by using "Format /Show Colours" then selecting a colour from the colour wheel.
this is however kind of stupid.
Apple should have made it so you can colour a message subject via a hotkey or when you Flag a message (since flagging can be done via hotkey)
I need someone who knows applescript perhaps to work around this problem. perhaps by having a script set up to run in rules via a hotkey or when a message is flagged.
if there is any other way to do it i would be open to that as well.
Process order:
select a message, hotkey, then the message is coloured,
Ideally, it would be perfect to run the same hotkey over the coloured email to REMOVE the colour and set it back to white.
PS. Please dont respond with "you can have specific email addresses when recieved coloured automaticly with rules"
i know this and i have exhausted every option and possibility that i can think of.
Thanks so much.
Hope you can help. I wonder if they will include this feature in 10.5, it would be very helpful.
Thanks
