Appletalk to TCP/IP MAC OSX router

Hi

I have an old MACSE FDHD that is running System 7. It has localtalk/appletalk. No network card

I also have an eMAC running OSX

I would like to get the MAC SE on the internet by using the eMAC as the router. I know there is commercial software out there (IPNETROUTER) that will allow the MAC SE and the eMAC to communicate with each other via appletalk and then route the appletalk packets to the internet via IPNETROUTER.

I was under the impression that OSX had a built in router function that would accomplish the same thing.

Does anyone have any advice on how to do this?

Summary

MAC se and eMAC are going to talk to each other via appletalk. eMAC has access to the internet via a wireless router. (usb port)

Would like to plug the SE (via the printer or modem port DIN 8) into the eMAC
and get the MAC se on the internet.

Is this possible using the built in routing software of OSX.

Thanks in advance

Tom
