AppleWorks 6.2 update

Is there any way to install AppleWorks 6.2 for MacOS X WITHOUT first installing the "classic" environment? I've gotten by thus far without it, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Alternatively, any guesses when Apple will release a MacOS-X specific version of AppleWorks?

Thanks,

Mike

Apple on AppleWork 6.2
If you use Mac OS X, the program installs AppleWorks 6.2. For Mac OS 8.1-9.1, the program instead installs AppleWorks 6.1.2.

I don't know, that sure sounds to me like AppleWorks 6.2 is specific to Mac OS X. Besides, I've been able to use AppleWorks (to some degree) in Mac OS X (without classic) since 6.0.4 on the Public Beta. I haven't had any problems with 6.1.2 in Mac OS X so far (though I mainly use it for word processing).
