I'm having an issue with Apple Works sorting samples based on date. It basically sorts things into two categories: pre-1990 and post 1990. So in a two-tiered order command with 'NAME' as the first sort category and 'DATE' as the second and I get results like this:
Leo Kottke 7/4/92
Leo Kottke 9/3/04
Leo Kottke 1/11/77
Leo Kottke 6/6/88
etc.
Its not the name field, as it does this for multiple named entries, and I've copied and pasted them in, so they are all identical, as a test.
any help appreciated.
