Application has unexpectedly quit error

Any time I try to install any software built with the VISE installer, I am getting the application "whatever" has unexpectedly quit. Eudora, Norton Anti Virus, and Tech Tracker are doing it on my system now. I am logged in as an admin user. I have tried disabling many things, to no avail. Does anyone have a clue where to look.
 
enable CrashReporter (see my thread in Reporting Problems) That'll at least tell you where they're crashing.
