I was wondering how I can make a static library off the command-line. I know I can use ld and a fist full of switches to get a dll but I just want a set of static libs that I can use in a few projects.

I do realize I could do it with Project Maker but would prefer to know how to do it with CC and BBEdit ^_^ ,V..

Any thoughts?
