Just wondering if the latest ATI driver updater file can be used to update the ATI Rage Mobility (8MB VRAM) in my PowerBook Pismo (aka 2000/Firewire).
I've downloaded the file (filename= radeon-0210.sit) and read the Readme file but it doesn't list my model graphics card. I've read how other users can update their ATI drivers with this latest updater even though their model video card isn't listed in the Readme files that accompany the updater.
ALSO, if I were to install the updated drivers, would it remove my current drivers? Is it worth trying to update, or could it wreck my machine? How would I reinstall my original drivers if I botched it up? -- Zeal
