ATI drivers and Halo

Just installed the latest drivers for my ATI card in my ibook, and now I've lost about a third of the graphics in Halo (anything that supposed to project light in the game like holograms or computer displays). Tried reinstalling halo with the latest updates, no joy there. Can't for the life of me figure out how to fix this. I know it's just a game, but it's anoying as hell.

Any help would be appreciated

thx

Have you tried checking the ATI Displays panel to see if it's set to the optimal settings?

You know, funny thing.

I checked on the ATI displays panel and I couldn't even figure out. It's basically set to the default settings. :p I tried to create a custom setup but it wouldn't let me.

These are my settings:

ATI displays panel is set to default - No GL overrides (in 3D section)

When I start HALO I get a "Halo Graphics Settings" window.
1. Hardware Shaders = Pixel + Vertex Shaders (detail objects = clicked)
2. FSAA = 2x sampling / Lens Flare = Medium / Model Detail = Medium

I'm using a dual 1GHz G4 with a Radeon 9800 Pro.
