I've been looking for a work around to my issue now for weeks to no avail. I'm receiving the same error prompt that a dude named George in one of these forums has been getting, http://georgecolombo.com/Audacity.jpg
I didn't start getting this prompt until I moved to TIGER(10.4 & 10.4.1). I'm working with an iMac, I use both an iMIC and SOUNDSTICKS, when I route the music though either I get the ERROR. The built in speakers work fine (but that's not where I need my sounds).
I've gone so far as to format my hard drive, gone back to my old OS (jaguar), and I still got the error. So now I'm operating both Jaguar and Tiger, needless to say I can't do what I need to do in Audacity even after adjustin' sample rates.
