audio delay

I am using an eye200 to view tv on my 30" apple screen. And Boise external sound system for the audio. The audio and video are out of sync. I have tried ALL the different confgs for receiving the different signals. It seems that because the eye200 signal video is being input to the g5 via firewire the A/V are just out of sync. Anything I can do to get the two together as they should be?

Hmmm... are you using the FireWire for not only the video input, but also the audio? Technically, if both the audio AND video are being brought in by FireWire, they should have the same delay time (thus putting them in sync with each other).

Maybe from what adambyte just said, then use the Mac audio output to your Boise external and things should be in sinc then
