Audio over Network

I have been searching for an application that will allow me to broadcast the audio output of my computer via the network (LAN or wireless - shouldn't really matter).
I came across some solutions for iTunes (different broadcast servers/clients) but what would really make me happy is a driver-like app that sends ALL my audio output via the network. An ideal solution would include a Windows-based client to listen to my new Mac playing music on the stereo system ...
Any ideas ?

iTunes does it itself - no external apps needed. But I guess you really want _all_ sound exported/streamed to clients. I wouldn't know about that, sorry.
 
Microsoft's remote desktop does this.. horribly.

iTunes (as mentioned above) is the only way I know of to get music over a network, and some quick searches yielded no results..
