Audio problems between computer TV

I just hooked my Mac Pro up to my TV and surround sound entertainment system using an s-video cable and 1/8-inch stereo audio cable. The image shows up without any problem, but the sound is causing trouble. Although the sound from the computer does reach the speakers, there is a terrible buzzing sound that is louder than the sounds coming from the computer. Using the same stereo cable, I have plugged both my iPod and my old Powerbook G4 into the entertainment center with no buzzing (sound is perfect). Only my Mac Pro causes buzzing.
I know this is a bit outside the standard Mac area of expertise, but I thought someone might be able to help. Thanks in advance!
 
Try having the devices (computer and TV) the same power outlet. Or, if that's the case, let them use different outlets. The buzzing sound usually is the 50 Hz interference from electricity.
