Hi, I am running iMovie 4.0.1 on a superdrive eMac.
Every time I import a fresh clip and then click back on the clips palette, there is no sound output via speakers nor headphones.
Audio is fine during importing but as soon as I revert back to the edit everything goes very quiet.
In order to rectify this I have:
made sure all volume levels are turned up;
checked speaker outputs;
checked all iMovie preferences and settings;
played both the clips and then the movie being assembled on the timeline;
rebooted (quite a few times!)...
but still nothing.
The problem seems to occur after I have been separating audio from the visuals.
Help!
