Hi guys!

As I said before I got control of a Power book g4 the other day for use in a bar for music only. we have a projecter aswell which at the moment we are running a set itunes playlist and the visualizer on the projecter via a s-video out from the powerbook. I want to know is it possible to have a visualizer running at the same time as itunes, but be able to tweak itunes while still having visualizer running on the projector? Someone who struck the deal for the powerbook said it can have a dual screen function eg running a movie and being able to work on the powerbook at the sametime....is it possible or is he just talking bollocks?

Yes you can have a movie on one screen and work on something else
in the other screen. Disable Mirror Display if you haven't done so,
In System preferences>Display

So if you use quicktime to play movies, move the pointer to your
external display before using the command + f , and it will full screen on that monitor.

For iTunes though, I'm not too sure. If I remember correctly, you have
to move iTunes to whichever monitor you want the visualizer to full
screen. even then, the unused screen will still turn black when the
visualizer is turned on. I don't have a setup to test but maybe there's
a workaround for this.

I think I know what you mean but I will word this a better by stating what I need.

I would like to have a visualizer that would be coming from the mac to be displayed on a projecter, while at the same time be able to control itunes on the powerbook monitor without it interrupting the visualizer on the projecter display.

I hope this clears it up a bit.
