I am setting up an image for our lab computer, these computers authenticate using ldap and then mount the users home directory using nfs. The problem is that the administrator in charge of the home directories decided to put all the home directories for the class of 2009 in the old 2004 folder and then just put a link to the folder. I need a way to tell the automounter that when it tries to go and mount server/home/2009 it should really go mount server/home/2004. I don't know where to put this link or where to tell the automounter to do this, however, and any help would be much appreciated.
