Automount Network Shares

I have been using an applescript to mount some network shares at login. this is rather slow though compared to using the go menu option... but using go every time I login or out is rather inconvenient.

Please some one tell me they have a better way to auto mount network shares at login like the Chooser used to.

This is a problem I have as well... I would like to mount shares off my windows (ugh) machine and I would like to have them there when I login. But I can't figure out a way to get them to mount automatically.
